An old avatar it took
decades to grow into.

I write under the name Drgn, an old avatar from a teenage Dungeons & Dragons table that took me decades to grow into.

I spent about forty years handing my power away and calling it everything but what it was, until two sentences turned it around: think for yourself, and take accountability for your actions. The last dozen years have been me learning to actually live them.

A lot of what I know about power, consent, and how people trade themselves away, I learned inside the BDSM and power exchange lifestyle. My nesting partner and I facilitate a Las Vegas polyamory community that has been running for over fifteen years, and we are building more online through Take Your Power Back.

I won’t sell you a fix. Some things need a doctor, not a book. What I can hand you is the same set of tools I used to get my own life back, and the accountability to run it yourself.
